Dragon fruit is a tropical fruit grown in Vietnam. It goes by many names, including pitaya, pitahaya. The most widely available variety has white pulp with black seeds, though a less common type with red pulp and black seeds exists as well.
Dragon fruit is low in calories and offers numerous nutrients, including Vitamin C, phosphorus, calcium, plus fiber and antioxidants.
