The new version of Vietjet Air's smart app, integrated with the 'Vietjet Sky Club' programme, was launched on Thursday.

The app helps customers stay updated on fares, book flight quicker and pay easily with a wide network of banks, Vietjet said, adding that the notification system ensures customers won't miss out on chances to buy discounted tickets.

Customers can also manage flights, check in online, receive information on changing flight times or buy add-on services, the airline added.

In addition, the app has a function for customers to register for membership and pay via Vietjet Sky Club to receive deals like free membership registration, free payment for domestic and international trips, chances to buy discounted tickets prized from zero dollars every Sunday and be the first to receive information on promotions.

According to Vietjet, the first 10,000 members who deposit at least VND1 million (US$43) into their Vietjet Sky Club accounts will receive VND100,000 ($4.3) each.

The app is available for free in the App Store for iOS or Google Play for Android. — VNS
