This promotional price is only available under the “Super preferential” programme, part of the “Proud of Vietnamese Goods 2019” month taking place at Co.opmart and Co.opXtra supermarkets around the country.

During the three-day weekend (September 6 to 9), the two supermarkets will offer big discounts on many essential products, including cooking oil, condensed milk, instant noodles, shampoos, bedsheets, and liquid detergents.

To avail the discounts, customers just need to meet an easy billing condition: having a bill worth at least VND400,000 (US$17.23).

Friday (September 6): the prices of a 6kg pack of Net frangipani detergent powder will be reduced from VND180,000 to VND99,000m, a 900g bottle of Dove shampoo recovery damaged hair from VND176,000 to VND9,000, a 1.2kg Hazeline oat and mulberry shower gel from VND139,000 to VND79,000, and a Colgate MaxFresh cool mint toothpaste 230g with toothbrush from VND38,000 to VND19,000.

Saturday (September 7): the prices of Sunhouse ceramic non-stick fry pan for induction cooker will be discounted by 50 per cent to VND215,000, Ringo cling film ST612 (30cmx500m) by 40 per cent to VND174,000, a 40x60 DT pillow to VND69,000, a long-sleeved woman’s elastic jacket to VND139,000, and a set of 1.6x2m SN cotton bedsheet from VND750,000 to VND489,000.

Sunday (September 8): a pack of 10 75g Lovemi sour and spicy instant noodles with shrimp flavour will be reduced to only VND1,000, a 2.25L pet bottle of Coca Cola to VND1,000, a 380g can of Dutch Lady premium condensed milk to VND5,000, and a bottle of Simply 2L soybean cooking oil from VND96,400 to VND52,000.

Besides, more than 100 Co.opmart and Co.opXtra supermarkets across the country are also applying a one price programme from September 5 to 11 September offering a fixed price of VND30,000 for products such as Co.op Select 850ml rectangular plastic box, Tithafac 430 stainless steel coffee filter 9cm, Hometex pillowcase, biodegradable food bags, men's shorts, and others.

During this period the supermarkets are also offering discounts of 15–20 per cent on many Vietnamese agricultural products such as cantaloupe, oranges, dragon fruits, gourds, choysum, carrots, green squash, and others. In addition, during ‘golden hours’ from 8am to 10am and 4pm to 6pm many fresh and processed foods are discounted by 30-40 per cent.
