ĐÀ NẴNG — They may be the new kids on the block at the 2019 Đà Nẵng International Fireworks Festival, but Finland’s 20 minute extravaganza was a sight to behold.
Hàn River came to life Saturday with the Finn’s first show in the central city.
The team spirits were no way dampened by the light rain in the evening and there performance, along with the display from two-time winners Italy, left the crowds breathless.
Since it launched in 2008, the Đà Nẵng international fireworks festival has played host to some of the finest pyrotechnic performers in the world.
This year’s event will also see teams from Russia, Brazil, Belgium, England, China, battle it out for top spot with hosts Việt Nam.
And what better setting to host the spectacle than the on the river bank as the theme for this year’s tournament is ‘Stories by the Rivers’.
England and China will perform in the fourth night on June 22 with the competition drawing to a close on July 7 - VNS
