GoViet, a leading on-demand multi-service platform, announced it has reached the milestone of 100 million rides within just one year of operations in Viet Nam.
GoViet has become one of the largest consumer transaction platforms in Viet Nam, offering to millions of users transportation (GoBike), courier (GoSend) and food delivery (GoFood) services.
Launched in HCM City in August 2018 and Hanoi a month later, GoBike quickly reached 100 million rides after growing at more than 400 per cent in 12 months.
More than 125,000 driver partners are with GoBike, earning a steady income through the platform.
Le Diep Kieu Trang, general director of GoViet, said: “I am immensely proud of what the GoViet team and our partners have achieved together in such a short period of time. GoViet's success is defined by the value we deliver to customers and our ability to improve their quality of life.
“We measure success not just in numbers but also by the socio-economic impact the company can make. This is the foundation on which we build a sustainable, long-term business model. We are committed to further enhancing our solutions to meet the everyday needs of the Vietnamese people.”
GoViet aims to become a "super-app" in Viet Nam following the highly successful model that Gojek has implemented in Indonesia, a market with economic conditions and demographics similar to Vietnam’s. Gojek is Southeast Asia’s largest mobile on-demand service and payments platform.
A rare decacorn start-up in Asia, Gojek has attracted investment from Google, Tencent, Temasek, Visa, and others.
With the support of technology, expertise and resources from Gojek, GoViet has a solid foundation to continue to innovate, create, and develop products and services that serve the many daily needs of Vietnamese. — VNS
